Jessica Malone plays Georgetown

Performance at Music on the Divide Jan. 20

Jessica Malone, a northern Californian native will perform a concert at the Georgetown IOOF Hall.

Malone is an award-winning singer/songwriter who was raised in the mountains of far Northern California. On her latest release, "The Waiting Hours," EP, drums, upright bass, violin, acoustic and electric guitar accompany her vocals.

“Her raw and unfiltered approach to folk/Americana songwriting creates music that will take you back in time, while her heartfelt lyrics will keep you rooted in the present,” a press release said.  Accompanying her on acoustic guitar and ukulele, will be Brett Vaughn on electric guitar, Barry Eldridge on drums, Giorge Khokhobashvili on violin and Thomas MacKerness on upright bass.

Tickets will be available at the door: $20 for adults and $5 for students. Music On The Divide members and children under 5 are free.

Doors open at 2 p.m. for members, and 2:30 p.m. for the public, with the music beginning at 3 p.m. Jan. 20. Complimentary refreshments will be served at intermission. For more information, go to musiconthedivide.org or jessicamalonemusic.com.
