A vehicle stop led to two arrests at Highway 49 and Quartz Drive in North Auburn. John Allen Rodes, 38, of Auburn, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dagger. Nicholas Ray Shaddox, 18, of Lodi was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property. A search turned up 12 bottles of liquid methadone reported stolen from a Calaveras County resident.
Bethany Margaret Moore, 20, a transient, was arrested on three outstanding warrants and on suspicion of providing false identification information to a deputy. The arrest took place near Sierra College Boulevard and East Roseville Parkway in the Roseville area.
Closed-circuit camera footage showed a motorcycle rider entering a 3300-block Swetzer Road property of Sierra Wes Wall Systems in Loomis and riding off after cutting cables, with a vehicle battery worth $500.
A $60 skateboard was stolen out of a trunk of a vehicle parked in the 5000-block of High Grove Court in Granite Bay. The victim told deputies that the trunk had been locked.
H. Clarke Powers Elementary School, 3296 Humphrey Road in Loomis, had shingles removed from a roof. Vandalism damage was an estimated $1,500.
A vehicle was burglarized while parked on Cavitt Stallman Road in Granite Bay. Jewelry, a phone, clothes and tools were reported missing.
Lilian Rosemaria Leal, 36, of Marysville was arrested near Athens Avenue and Foothills Boulevard in rural Lincoln on suspicion of possession of meth.
Mikela Coller Kamuela Olson, 36, of Loomis was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and public intoxication. The arrest took place in the 6100-block Horseshoe Bar area of Loomis, following a report of an intoxicated male driving to a restaurant with a 6-year-old.
Sarah Kristen Martin, 38, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs and possession of a glass pipe used for smoking drugs.
Amy Colleen Shea, 45, of Meadow Vista was arrested on a warrant, plus suspicion of evading a deputy and driving while her license was suspended. The arrest took place at 5 p.m. near Combie Road and Valley Road in Meadow Vista. The Sheriff’s Office report said a deputy attempted to stop a car with no rear license plate and the driver kept on driving for another 0.8 miles before stopping at an in-law’s house.
Luana Louise Bednar, 44, of Sacramento was arrested in the 3000-block of Highway 49 in North Auburn on suspicion of public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
Sophia Rachel Horton, 32, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth and a meth pipe. The arrest took place after a vehicle stop at 1200 Athens Ave. in rural Lincoln, the address of Thunder Valley Casino.
Phillip Wayne Radford, 43, of Colfax was cited at Lincoln Way and Flood Road in Bowman on suspicion of driving while his license was suspended. The citation came after the suspect’s vehicle was pulled over shortly after almost causing a collision, the report said.
Tools worth $450 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3500-block Opal Drive in North Auburn.
Mail theft was reported on Knoll Drive in Meadow Vista.
An estimated $30,000 in property - including a Jeep Grand Cherokee - was stolen in a break-in overnight at a 9300-block Chantry Hill Road home in Newcastle. Also missing was a rifle and jewelry.
Donald Allen Foster, 64 of Sacramento was arrested on two warrants and on suspicion of possession of both meth and a meth pipe. The arrest took place outside the Thunder Valley Casino at 1200 Athens Drive. A deputy is reported to have found a man asleep inside a vehicle, holding meth and a smoking pipe.
A generator worth $1,200 was stolen off the back of a truck parked in the 6200-block Helen’s Court in Loomis.
Balentin Gonzalez, 42, of Sacramento was arrested at 4:30 a.m. near South Loop Road and Sunset Boulevard in Rocklin on suspicion of unlawful possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a drug pipe. The arrest followed a stop on a vehicle.
A window was broken to enter a vehicle, pop the trunk and steal $1,000 in camping gear. The break-in took place on Mosquito Ridge Road, about 9 miles south of Foresthill.
A debit card was stolen from a 4300-block Sir Barton Court porch in Roseville. The card was canceled but not before an attempt was made to use it was denied at a Target store.
Mail was stolen from a mailbox in the 7900-block of Rasmussen Road in Loomis.
A tent and flashlight were stolen from the Big 5 store in North Auburn.
A total of $7,258 in property was stolen from a vehicle parked at The Sprinkler Medic, in the 7300-block English Colony Way in Penryn. Someone tunneled under a fence and cut the power before removing a padlock to a shed and taking to steal from the vehicles.
Construction tools worth an estimated $6,000 were stolen from a storage shed in a break-in at a 6800-block Douglas Boulevard trailer park in Granite Bay.
A vehicle outside Cabos Restaurant, 8570 Auburn Folsom Road in Granite Bay, was burglarized with entry gained through an open window. A purse was stolen and the loss was an estimated $1,380.
Information comes from Placer County Sheriff’s Office reports. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
