June 25

Timmie Kennedy, 57, a transient, was arrested at the Placer County Government Center in North Auburn on suspicion of obstructing a deputy. The Sheriff’s Office was called to 3rd Street in North Auburn after a report of a man threatening people and clenching his fists at them. When deputies arrived, the man threatened to harm the Sheriff’s Office canine kept in a patrol vehicle during the incident.

Haley Noelle Anderson, 34, of Penn Valley was arrested at Sierra View Place and Laird Road in Loomis on suspicion of possession of meth and a meth pipe. The arrest followed a probation search.

June 24

Tools worth $5,000 were stolen from three campsites at Emigrant Gap’s Cisco Grove Campground. The thefts took place between 2:30 and 8 a.m.

A break-in was reported at T-Mobile, 1850 Grass Valley Highway in North Auburn. The burglary took place between 3:23 and 3:34 a.m. and was reported at 3:28 a.m. There was no theft but damage during the attempt to get at the store’s cell phone supply was an estimated $50.

Keith Allen Henry, 28, a transient was cited at 11:30 p.m. in the 4000-block of Grass Valley Highway in North Auburn on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Michael Gene Carroll, 41, of Citrus Heights was arrested in the 1400-block Oak Ridge Way in North Auburn on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license.

June 22

Bobbie Clayton Hack, 58, of Meadow Vista was arrested on suspicion of preventing a Home Depot store manager from using a cell phone to call 9-1-1. The manager told deputies that he had asked a man to leave the North Auburn store after the man smashed property in a bathroom. The manager said the man grabbed him by the throat and when he went to call the Sheriff’s Office, the man grabbed the phone and threw it away.

Mailboxes were broken into in the 7500-block Ridge Road in Newcastle.

June 17

Tools and clothing were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Bowman’s Motel 6, 1819 Auburn Ravine Road in Bowman. The theft took place between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

June 16

Mail theft was reported near English Colony Way in Penryn. Damage to mailboxes to get at the mail was an estimated $100.

June 13

A home being show for sale had jewelry worth $6,000 stolen from the master bedroom. The home was located in the 4500-block Shari Way in Granite Bay. The theft took place June 9 or 10.

Information comes from Placer County Sheriff’s Office reports. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
