Spirit of Auburn Community BBQ

  • When: 5 p.m. Sept. 14
  • Where: Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn
  • Info:

This year will be the 36th annual Auburn Rotary “Spirit of Auburn Community BBQ,” the largest fundraiser of the year for this local service club. The greater Auburn community has been a wonderful supporter of this over the years, and 2018 should be another spectacular community event.

Mark your calendars for the key things you need share or remember:

The Date: 5 p.m. Sept. 14

The Place: Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn

The Food: Gourmet barbecue, chicken, salmon, pork, and beef, salad, beans, bread and dessert.

The Fun: Family friendly, bounce house, rock wall, music, silent auction, raffle prizes and more fun.

The Opportunity: Be a sponsor

The Money: The money raised stays in our community to support scholarships, youth organizations, Acres of Hope, Stand Up Placer and many other local organizations.

There’s plenty of time to get involved, to buy your tickets, or to donate a raffle prize.  Tell your friends, family or anyone who will listen to make this year’s Spirit of Auburn Community BBQ continue in the Rotary’s rich “service above self” actions in our community.  Rotary President Kahl Muscott and this year’s barbecue chairperson Jeffrey Wood look forward to hosting this awesome community event

We salute and support all our local service clubs. Look for additional information on this event and others in the upcoming issues of the Auburn Journal. The spirit and volunteerism of so many make our community a wonderful place to call home.
