First night of championship racing at Fast Fridays Motorcycle Speedway this weekend

AUBURN― After a two-week break, championship racing gets back underway at Fast Fridays this Saturday. With only three nights of racing left in the 2018 season, Fast Fridays Motorcycle Speedway presents the first of three championship nights of racing, hosting the Fast Fridays Track Championship and the Team SOS Team Challenge Series Final.

The top 16 Division I riders finishing with the most season points will square of for top honors. The top eight Division II and Division III riders will also take to the track to settle who will be the track champion in their respective divisions.

The SOS Team Challenge Series is a six-round team racing event with two six-man teams racing against each other over the course of the season. Currently, after five rounds, Rocklin Harley Davidson leads Team SOS, 51-42. The final round is Saturday and the winning team will be crowned.

On Saturday, Sept. 29, the Speedway will host the fifth and final round of the AMA National Championship Series Grand Final to crown a national champion. On Saturday, Oct. 13, Fast Fridays will conclude with the USA vs The World season finale.
