Auburn Police arrested 18-year-old Patrick Johnathan Pujol Wednesday in connection with several recent graffiti incidents throughout the city. Pujol, an Auburn resident, was linked to the graffiti found at Placer High School, The Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Rowdy Randy’s, Depoe Bay Coffee and the Placer County Library Amphitheater, according to Sgt. Dave Lawicka. Additionally, Pujol, who was arrested at about 4p.m., was charged with possession of stolen property. Lawicka said police believe Pujol had property taken from several car burglaries in Auburn. Pujol cooperated with detectives during questioning and was arrested without incident, Lawicka said. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have been a victim of graffiti or recent thefts from vehicles who has not already filed a police report, or who may have any additional information about these cases, is asked to contact the Auburn Police Department Investigations Division, Detective Scott Alford at (530) 823-4237 ext. 207. ~Staff report
