For a variety of reasons the past few months have proven to be quite a trying time. I am extremely thankful for all the support I have received — both on a personal and on a political level. I feel the best way to survey folks and find out the will of the electorate comes at the polls and I am very thankful and honored for the support the voters have given to me by way of re-election to the Auburn Recreation District Board of Directors. While not necessarily perfect, I feel your ARD has come a long way and is a vital and positive part of our community, making life just that much better. I am prepared to meet the challenges. I further look forward to working with all at the district as well as with our community partners and volunteers to provide the best recreation district we can. I also feel the re-election of the incumbents is a big reflection on the incredible staff your ARD has. Every day, rain or shine, the ARD team is out there working their hardest. Be it administration and customer service, or facility and grounds, I have never had the pleasure of working with such wonderful folks, all committed to providing the best they can. Cheers to all of you! I wish you a very happy holiday season. Scott Holbrook, ARD board director, Auburn
