Girls basketball 

Colfax 48, Foothill 35 —  Reagan Lillie scored 15 points, Amber Tobiaz  added 10 and the first-place Lady Falcons defeated visiting Foothill Tuesday night in a Pioneer Valley League game. Taylor Avila had nine points for Colfax (16-8, 6-1), which led 27-12 at halftime. The Lady Falcons travel to Bear River (21-2, 6-1) Thursday for a pivotal 7 p.m. PVL matchup. Colfax beat Bear River in the teams’ prior meeting. 

 

Boys basketball 

Forest Lake Christian 74, Foresthill 50 —  Luke Jordan scored 19 points and Brandon Camacho added 12 points and eight steals for the victorious Falcons (15-7, 5-3 Central Valley California League). J.J. Griffiths chipped in with 12 points coming off the bench for Forest Lake, which plays Victory Christian at home Friday at 8 p.m.
