Artists sought for 'Auburn Arts in the Park'

“Auburn Arts in the Park” will be held Saturday, May 19, at School Park Preserve. The Auburn Arts Commission seeks artists to make the event a success.

For $30, participating artists will receive a 10-by-10-foot outdoor exhibit space to showcase and sell their work.

Visual fine artists in all media are sought for the one-day visual and performing arts festival. The festival will include artists selling their work, musical and dance performances, strolling musicians, actors portraying famous artists, art demonstrations, art-related activities for children, food booths and a wine and beer garden.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 19, with setup from 7-9:45 a.m. The festival is organized by the Auburn Arts Commission to foster and promote the visual and performing arts in Auburn.
