Auburn City Council to review finances, budget modifications
The Auburn City Council is set to hear reports on the city’s financial status, the fire department’s medical response and the progress of its housing element at its regular meeting Monday.
The city’s estimated earned revenue in the general fund is being increased by $963,629 to $9.56 million and its appropriation for expenditures is being increased by $771,534 to $9.24 million for the current fiscal year.
The council will vote to adopt a range of modified budgets as well.
It is the City Council’s policy to periodically receive financial reports and make adjustments as necessary.
