Several readers responded to this week’s photo spread featuring Christmas light displays in Auburn (Sunday, Dec. 18), calling in to let the Journal know about other dazzling decorations to be found here.

Ken and Nancie Goodnough have lots of lights at their home on Calloway Circle, and Nancie Goodnough said the whole neighborhood has gotten into the swing of things this year.

“Our neighbors and others in the neighborhood have really done well this year,”?she said. “Auburn is really showing its spirit.”
To see the display, turn onto Canal Street from Luther Road. When Canal ends, turn right onto Erin Drive, then right on Divot Lane and another right onto Calloway Circle.

“When our children were little, before we owned a home, we would get milkshakes at a drive-thru and look at Christmas lights,”?Nancie Goodnough said. “It always made them so happy. When we got this house 16 years ago, we started decorating it.”

Other colorful displays can be found at 420 Aeolia Drive and 12640 Patricia Lane, where Jim and Linda Greenlee have created a beautiful Christmas scene.
