Auburn Police have agenda

Regarding Jack Buckman’s letter concerning the Auburn police (June 29), I join in his opinion. I recently had a like encounter with an APD officer near the post office. These guys can fabricate, spin and perjure themselves better than a politician running for office. The only defense is to stay out of Auburn or always have a passenger as a witness. Shop in Auburn? I don’t think so, I can get to Rocklin/Roseville via I-80 on Bell Road. To protect and serve is not on these folks’ agenda. I guess we can hope that the two officers involved in these instances are the ones scheduled for layoff (Journal, June 23). If not, they should be. Ron Schwab, Auburn
