The Auburn Wildcats are on quite a roll after settling in at James Field this month. After a cold start to the season, Auburn?s collegiate, wooden-bat baseball club has suddenly won 10 of 11 games, including four in a row. The latest victory was a 16-7 romp over the Sacramento M?s on Tuesday at James Field. The Wildcats lost five of their first six games to start the season, but big hitters Darius Washington and Joey Havrilak have sparked the offense while Jacob Cook, Zach Saca and Chad Hodges are leading the way on the mound. Auburn is 8-3 in Pacific West Baseball League play and is currently third in the South Division. Auburn will be on the road for a four-game set at the Salinas Tomahawks Friday through Sunday. The Wildcats return for six straight home games, beginning June 28 at 7 p.m. For the full schedule, visit www.auburnwildcats.com.
