Marylee Drake, of Auburn, is a finalist in the Pacific West Quilt Show to be presented Aug. 24-26 in Tacoma, Wash.
“Vineyards” will compete with 200 quilts from the Pacific West region: Alaska, Alberta, Arizona, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, the Northwest Territories, Oregon, Saskatchewan, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and Yukon. More than $25,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to winners in 10 categories.
The producing organization of this contest, the Association of Pacific West Quilters, is dedicated to promoting the art of quilt-making throughout the Western U.S. and Canada.
