The Auburn Journal Web site has undergone a facelift to offer our users a better online experience. One obvious change you will notice is the new top navigation bar. Not only does this feature make searching for your favorite sections easier, but it offers more space on our site for larger photos and more headlines. You’ll also notice we’ve said goodbye to Myopolis and hello to myAuburn. Just as before, we invite you to share your local stories, photos, blogs, videos and events with others in the community. As the name suggests, myAuburn was created with the goal that the user content would be specific to the greater community of Auburn. myAuburn lets you interact with others in the community and certain content will be chosen to be reverse published in the print edition. Read what your neighbors are writing about and share your own thoughts at You’ll also find links to Gold Country Careers, Homes, Autos and Classifieds on the top section of the Web site, with a new money-saving section called Value Vault launching at the end of January. We hope you spend some time looking over our new site and hope the new changes will make your online experience at more enjoyable. We encourage you to be an active participant on myAuburn and embrace the community site as your own., your connection to the community is only a click away. — Stephanie Breitbart, online content producer
