The Bear River High softball team needed extra innings.

But the Lady Bruins remain unbeaten in Pioneer Valley League play, nonetheless.

Mikayla Lamance stole home for the game-winning run in the eighth inning and Bear River beat Lincoln 6-5 Tuesday at Lake of the Pines.

Lamance also had a 2-for-4 day at the plate and added an RBI. Maya Shine was 2 for 5 with two doubles.

Bear River’s Nerissa Long pitched all eight innings and allowed no earned runs. Long walked nine and struck out 11.

The game was tied at 3-3 before extras.

Bear River (9-8, 6-0) travels to Foothill Thursday for a 4 p.m. ballgame.
