Bunnell Memorial Tournament next weekend

The 19th annual Tracy Bunnell Memorial Softball Tournament is slated for July 30-31 at Regional Park in Auburn.
The tournament is open to 12 women’s teams (D-level and below) and 16 men’s teams (D-level and below). Entry fee is $250 per team and registration deadline is July 25. All proceeds from the event go to the Placer County Suicide/Crisis Hotline.

Youth golf camp coming next week
Placer High girls golf coach Carol French will conduct a golf cams for junior high and high school boys and girls this summer at The Ridge Golf Course in Auburn.
The camps will consist of three days of instruction followed by course play the final day. Beginning to advanced golfers are welcomed and equipment will be provided, if necessary. Dates for the camp are July 25-28. All sessions start at 4 p.m. and conclude at 6:30.
Cost for the camp is $75, plus a $5 green fee to play the course.

AYSC hosting soccer camp this week
The Auburn Youth Soccer Club is conducting UK International Soccer Camps this week at Skyridge Elementary School.
There will be a free parent and coach clinic is scheduled for Saturday. A striker/goalkeeper clinic on Saturday will run from 9 a.m. to noon for $30.

Placer County Bar Association golf tourney in September
The Placer County Bar Association will sponsor a charity golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 23 with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln.
Entry fee of $140 covers green fees, range balls, cart, lunch and dinner. Proceeds from the event go to the Mother Lode Regional Office of Legal Services of Northern California, which provides free help to low income individuals and seniors in civil cases who are unrepresented by lawyers.
