Check data on existing towers

-A +A
Authorities approving new cell towers should first demand data on towers in the proposed area and determine whether co-location can be achieved on existing towers. Up to five carriers can be located on one monopole. On most monopoles an extension can be added. Other options are locating on PG&E transmission towers, light standards, and applying stealthing methods to hide antennas located on rooftops. Why aren’t they planning an addition to the light standard cell tower at Placer High? What buildings are available that can be used to hold antennas? What is the cell coverage that is planned by the radio frequency engineers? Other questions should be addressed. I am a cell tower facility engineer with 20 years of experience in telecommunications.
