Taylor Avila had 16 points, Amber Tobiaz added 11 and the Colfax girls basketball team picked up another Pioneer Valley League victory Friday night over visiting Center.

Reagan Lillie chipped in with nine points for the Falcons (13-8, 3-1), who moved into a three-way tie for first place in the PVL after Bear River beat Placer Friday in Auburn.

“We played good for three solid quarters and couldn’t execute in the fourth,” said coach Dave Campbell, whose team led 33-11 at half and 40-25 at the end of three. “It was a pretty good game overall, though.”

Colfax returns to the court to play at Lincoln on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
