It costs companies lots of money to change their systems and some of the employees will probably be late. Plus, many churches are half-filled Sunday mornings when the time changes. I am a senior citizen and it takes me exactly one year to adjust to the new time. Then they go and change it again. I heard about a wise old Indian chief who said, “Only the government would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it to the bottom and have a longer blanket.” Isn’t that the truth? Let’s complain to our politicians that it is time to save money, not time. Ruth Smith, Auburn
