Don’t build on nature’s doorstep

This proposed development on Highway 49 (Bohemia retail project) will bring jobs, but it will also bring more traffic. With more population you have more problems, a very simple truth. People don’t want more population, they want less. It’s already overcrowded on Highway 49. By bringing more people into the area, you diminish the reasons for coming here. You go somewhere else. This ruination of a semi-rural community feeling will cause a decline in consumption. Remember: overdevelopment is a cancer which spreads and destroys everything sacred to a simple way of life. We need to confine our building to the big cities, not on nature’s doorstop. Allen Cassidy, Auburn
