Don’t call Obama great

President Barack Obama is not a great man nor is he a good president. Nor does he live as a Christian and does not understand or uphold the Constitution of this United States, as I view it. He is not the president who will lead us back to a prosperous great country where our citizens who want to work can find a good-paying job. He is not the leader who will give this nation’s people the hope they need to believe that the future will get better. Currently nearly two-thirds of voters don’t feel hopeful about the direction of the country; this should be a wakeup call for all. His slogan in 2008 was “yes we can.” Well, many voters put him in office without demanding an explanation of what it meant. Well, we are now seeing that “yes we can” meant a takeover of the government and to impose his agenda on every American. Some people still can’t see what he is doing because they have a “worship the messiah” mentality. I hope that the truth will surface and that we cannot have this man rule for another four years. It was quoted by Albert Einstein, “insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result.” This is what seems to be going on now with our current administration. I am proud to be an American citizen of this great country and that we can still express our opinions under the First Amendment. Joe Nicosia, Auburn
