The Auburn Union School District Board of Trustees has a new member with years of experience. On Wednesday night the board unanimously appointed Lynn Hargrove to fill the seat of Charles Boggus, who resigned from the board in January, according to Daniel Berlant, president of the board. Hargrove’s term is scheduled to run until November 2012. “Lynn sat on the board for nine years and brings a tremendous amount of experience and institutional knowledge,” Berlant said. “As we face possible massive state budget cuts, the board needed someone like Lynn, who has the education background and who understands Auburn Union’s budget inside and out, to help us get through this storm.” Hargrove is currently a math instructor at Sierra College. ~Staff report
