WEST SACRAMENTO - Colfax High's baseball team battered Florin, 15-0, Tuesday afternoon to earn a spot against Whitney in today's 4 p.m. championship game of the River City Tournament.

Colfax, which is 2-1 in the tournament, gained the title game winning a tie-breaker with Fallon by allowing just five runs in its three bracket games.

In Tuesday's win, Colfax banged out 13 base hits and  paraded 12 men to the plate in an eight-run third inning uprising that put the contest into the 10-run mercy rule count.

Ryan Glazner led the win going 3x3 at the plate with two RBIs while Matt Paskey stroked a double and drove in three runs and Kyle Bryant added a 2x3 day with a double and four RBIs.
