Family will miss Latitudes

Latitudes Restaurant closed last Sunday. It was more than a restaurant to us. It was an oasis with excellent food. All of us looked forward to the experience. We went there to regroup as a family and retreat from our hectic lives. We took friends and family there and walked back into the kitchen to say hello after the meal. Our kids grew up with the Latitudes staff. For years they ordered “Pete’s noodles,” while Mom and Dad ordered some outstanding meal from another Latitude. As the kids got older, they started adding other goodies such as cider chicken, salads and steaks on the side. Pete, Pat and staff planned and prepared each meal like it was an extension of themselves. They cared about the food and they cared about us. Pete and Pat would come out and talk to us about their lives, and we shared our lives with them. It was always a “delicious” experience. We will miss Latitudes, but mostly we will miss the experience. Thank you Pete, Pat and staff. Tom and Grace Blackburn, Auburn
