The Forest Lake Christian girls soccer team crushed Victory Christian 6-1 Thursday to improve to 2-0 in Central Valley Christian League play. Junior Christa Weisman and senior Lindsey Engbrecht scored two goal apiece to lead the Falcons’ charge. Junior Katelyn Seitz added one goal and junior Kacie McGeary passed out two assists. Kaylee Lommori, Seitz and Engbrecht added one assist each for Forest Lake (4-2-1 overall). Taylor Engbrecht shined a stopper while Alaura Woody was steady at sweeper. Lia Hagerty and Elyse Vierra were also outstanding defensively while goalkeeper Morghan Pomeroy came up with seven saves. Forest Lake will host Cristo Rey Monday at 4 p.m.
