Foresthill digs deep at home

Foresthill High overcame a talented Sacramento Waldorf squad and the ejections of two players Friday night to pick up its first Central Valley Christian League win. The Wildfires held off the Waves 49-43 despite playing with just six players for most of the game. Two Foresthill players were ejected in the first quarter after leaving the bench during an altercation on the court. They were ejected and will be suspended for Foresthill’s game at Delta on Tuesday. Sean O’Hagan scored 15 points to lead the Wildfires (7-7 overall, 1-1 CVCL). Travis Greene scored eight and grabbed eight rebounds while Pliny Murphy tossed in eight points and five assists. The Waves fell to 13-3 overall and 1-1 in the CVCL. Forest Lake 68, Vacaville Christian 53 at Lake of the Pines — The Falcons improved to 2-0 in the Central Valley Christian League and 10-2 overall with a home win Friday night.
