Fund opened for injured Placer High student

Carducci was in rollover crash on Interstate 80

A fund has been established for Andrew Carducci, one of the Placer High School students recently in a rollover crash on Interstate 80.

The Andrew Carducci Fund is open at US Bank on High Street in Auburn. The fund is meant to help pay for Carducci's hospital bills following the accident, which occurred on the Elm Avenue on-ramp.

Carducci was airlifted from the accident to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. He is still in the hospital and was recently listed in serious condition.

Carducci is a varsity soccer player at Placer High. His coach, Dave Brown, said after the accident that Carducci has a cracked skull.

Checks can be made out to the Andrew Carducci Fund and sent to US Bank at 730 High St., Auburn, Ca. 95603. Donations can also be dropped off at the bank.
