Gravy train takes all

I keep forgetting the KISS principle. Let’s try this: If someone holds a gun and takes your money, that’s called robbery. If a banker or other wealthy entity pays off an elected official to prevent regulations which would restrict them from having free access to your money, conservatives these days call it constitutionally protected free market capitalism. Before someone starts whining about big bad unions doing the same thing, there’s no argument that they haven’t been infiltrated by corruption as well, but they have obviously lost the war for influence in Washington, so it has boiled down to who pays the most per vote. No doubt, there are Democrats on the gravy train, but for Republicans, it’s a requirement for membership. Mike McConnehey, Auburn
