I read with great interest the guest editorial by Supervisor (Robert) Weygandt on Monday Feb. 27 (“Regional plan best way to address wastewater options.”) It appears that all the work that has gone into the regional sewer issue has come to fruition by weaving the revenues from the Middle Fork of the American River so that sewer ratepayers will not be impacted. This is an innovative way to bring the huge long-term benefits of regionalization to Auburn and North Auburn. In addition it preserves the option to consolidate more small wastewater plants in the future. This is the way government agencies should work together. Bob Snyder, Auburn
