Hen clucks beat drive-by shots

Let me see if I have this right. Some people are against having chickens in their neighborhoods because of the flies, the smell and the clucking. Also, their dogs that are running loose could be tempted to attack the chickens. Ahem. As far as the smell goes, how about the people who don’t pick up after their dogs? What about that smell and the flies? What about the people who don’t spay or neuter their cats? They come into my yard to poop in my flower beds. They spray all over and mate and fight. I have a dog. I keep it in my house and yard. Keep the yard picked up. I would rather hear a rooster crow than hear gun shots or sirens all night and day. What is wrong with wanting fresh eggs? If you don’t want livestock, move to a big city and hear the drive-bys. Terry Rubio, Auburn
