Hidden Falls a slice of heaven

As I try to do as often as possible, I went hiking around the beautiful trails of Hidden Falls Regional Park this weekend. I was again struck by the beauty of this marvelous site. Walking among the mossy rocks, ferns and graceful buckeye just coming into leaf, I had to continually remind myself that I was still in Auburn instead of somewhere in the redwoods. My favorite trail is the Seven Pools Loop; hiking that trail is so good for the nature-loving soul. I’d like to thank the folks at Placer County Parks for obtaining and maintaining this beautiful park that is here, just around the corner, waiting for us to enjoy it. Their hard work is sincerely appreciated. Melissa Poplin, Auburn
