Councilman Mike Holmes is planning a fundraiser to kick off his election campaign. The Committee to Elect Mike Holmes to Auburn City Council is hosting “An Evening BBQ with Mike” from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 1 at Recreation Park. Holmes is expected to share his goals for Auburn’s future.
