Yue graduates from Humboldt State Dustin Yue, a 2003 Placer High School graduate, graduated from Humboldt State University in Arcata, on May 17, 2008 with a bachelor of arts degree in geography. Dustin is the son of Kathryn Kratzer-Yue of Auburn and Richard Yue of Colfax. While attending Humboldt State, Yue rode for the Humboldt Cycling Team and earned a personal third in the 2007 Western Conference, Collegiate Mountain Bike Omnium, and helped the Humboldt team secure the title of Division II Champions for the Western Conference. Ireland graduates magna cum laude Tinley Anne Ireland, of Newcastle, recently graduated magna cum laude from the University of California at Berkeley with a bachelor of arts in comparative literature. Ireland was also honored with membership to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. During her matriculation, she was named intern of the year by KTVU television, interned with Senator Diane Feinstein, and attended Cambridge University. She is currently working at the 1st Congregational Church in Berkeley where she coordinates service projects, and is liaison for the Interfaith Action Initiative. Ireland is planning a career in domestic and international aid. Slink completes Navy basic training Navy Seaman Recruit Kevin M. Slink, grandson of Betty Asevedo of Auburn, recently completed eight weeks of U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit raining Command, Great Lakes, Ill., including classroom study and practical instruction. Slink is a 2007 graduate of Laguna Creek High School of Elk Grove.
