Wade graduates from basic combat training Army Pvt. Tabitha M. Wade has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During nine weeks of training, she studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. Wade is the daughter of Donna Wade of Ione, and niece of Karen Gutierrez of Auburn. The private is a 2009 graduate of Placer High School, Auburn. Vigil completes basic training Air Force Airman Adrianna Marie Vigil has graduated from eight weeks of basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio Texas, She is now stationed at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. Vigil is the granddaughter of Bill and Joyce Costa of Newcastle. She graduated in 2008 from Natomas High School. Thompson finishes basic training Air Force Airman Shawn N. Thompson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He is the son of Marti Thompson of Auburn. The airman is a 2004 graduate of Camptonville Academy, Yuba City.
