Hoping former owner can’t adopt ‘Otis’

I don’t know if I’m alone in my feelings, but I have to admit some amazement that the pitbulls involved in the attack on JoJo (Kerschner) are still alive. Any dog involved in an unprovoked attack on a human being should be destroyed immediately. And I say again it has to be more than coincidence that practically every story about a dog attack involves a pitbull, a breed that should be banned statewide. What if the attack had involved a child rather than a teen? Would we feel differently? At the very least we can only hope that the judge’s order that the owner of these animals never be allowed to own dogs in this area again be reinstated so that if poor Otis is “rehabilitated” he cannot come back to the same irresponsible owner.
