Houston helps Placer boys beat Folsom volleyball team

The Placer High boys volleyball team got the job done again.

This time the Hillmen beat Folsom at Earl Crabbe Gym on Thursday night, 25-11, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Collin Houston had 11 kills, Tyler Linton chipped in with eights kills and three aces and Austin Bonner added seven kills and three aces for Placer (2-0).

“This was one of those games where we were playing around with the lineup,” Hillmen coach Andy Klem said. “I was able to get everyone in. We came together as a team at the end. It was a good-feel win, especially toward the end there.”

Placer returns to the court Tuesday when the Hillmen host Del Oro at 7 p.m.
