If God was in our hearts, great change would come

Do you believe in God, maker of heaven and Earth? I do. Many are ready to put him down, deny him and be so quick to defend other beliefs, and yet stand silently when it comes to acknowledging our sovereign God of the universe. It is so refreshing to see an awakening by so many, responding to the “evangelical Christian” message that the Pope has delivered. He has proclaimed Jesus Christ as Lord. From the founding of our nation, God has been a part of it, and we need to heed this message, and to be encouraged by the Bible in Deuteronomy 6:5-7, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. ...” Do you think that if we really, really took this to heart, we might have less killings, less fighting in our schools, and that we might be able to teach our young people that there is no substitute for distinguishing right from wrong? Let’s put God back in our schools, and we will see the great change that will come about. President C.
