The final portion of the walkway was completed by concrete contractor Todd Holladay at Auburn’s Ashley Memorial Dog Park, thanks to generous donors. Recent rains closed much of the park, but it will re-open Saturday. “As donations come in we make needed improvements. We do a little piece at a time,” Holladay said. “ARD maintains the park. They’re very helpful.” Kahl Muscott, Auburn Recreation District administrator, said the walkway was paid for by donations from the Ashley Memorial Dog Park Foundation. He added that the Auburn Recreation District “contributed some staff time with the pour.” Zsofi and Kristof Varga (right) of Auburn take a walk with their dog Ocsi Wednesday. “We come here as often as possible, at least once or twice a week,” said Kristof Varga. “The first thing we do is walk around the park. I think the park needed a complete path.”
