Jordan airs it out in Forest Lake Christian’s win

Luke Jordan connected on 4 of 6 3-pointers in the first half to propel the Forest Lake Christian boys basketball team to a 65-52 victory over visiting Victory Christian Friday night.

Jordan had 16 points on the night for the Falcons, who improved to 16-7, 6-3 in Central Valley California League play.

Jesse Poppin added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Forest Lake, which plays at Cristo Rey Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Chase Augustino chipped in with 10 points and Brandon Camacho had eight for the Falcons, who led 41-21 at half and shot a season-best 43 percent (7 of 16) from 3-point land.

“The boys played really well against a very disciplined Victory Christian team,” Falcons coach Jason Camacho said.
