Education is faced with many problems requiring strong, competent leadership and independent thinking to provide the best education for our students, parents and communities. Lynn Oliver is just that person. Let’s re-elect her to the Placer County Board of Education (PCOE), Area 4. Lynn has over 22 years’ experience as a school board member, is a sitting member of the PCOE Board and was selected to serve as its president. She has B.A. and M.A. degrees in education and possesses a multiple subjects teaching credential. She has been a classroom teacher. Lynn is a strong advocate for personal responsibility and accountability. She has been recognized and honored for her professionalism, intelligence, fair and knowledgeable leadership, fiscal policy and sound educational practices, by being selected for, or serving as: a delegate to the California School Board Association; PCOE Policy Committee Chair; recognition as Outstanding Trustee by the Placer County School Boards Association; and 11 years as a member of the Placer High School District’s Budget Advisory Committee. Community members and leaders, parents, administrators, trustees, teachers and classified staff throughout Placer County have endorsed Lynn.
