Lacrosse exhibition Saturday in Meadow Vista

If you are interested in finding out more about the growing sport of lacrosse, Meadow Vista Park is the place to be this Saturday.

The Gold County Stampede’s varsity lacrosse team will make its debut in the Auburn-Colfax area on Saturday with a scrimmage match set to be played starting at 9 a.m. at Meadow Vista Park in Meadow Vista.. 

The Stampede is a foothills-area based club that plays lacrosse matches in Grass Valley, and other matches in the Sacramento area.  The scrimmage will be followed by a free  kids’ lacrosse clinic from 11 a.m. – noon.

This is a great opportunity for interested players to come enjoy the exciting game of lacrosse, one of the fastest growing sports in the world.  Registration for boys and girls Stampede teams, grades 2-12, is happening right now.
