I wrote a letter to the editor regarding Measure K which was published Sept. 26 (“Giving Measure K a no vote”).
The Auburn Journal wrote a number incorrectly that I had in my letter. The Journal wrote “$307 parcel” instead of what I had written which was “$30/ parcel.”
The sentence should have read “Measure K drops the parcel tax after three years to $30/ parcel which will provide around $60,000/year additional income to the current budget.”
