Lions honor Leos for community service

-A +A

The Auburn Host Lions recently held a dinner to honor their Leo club members from Placer High and E.V. Cain Middle schools.

Leo clubs are service organizations and perform many functions on their own such as food drives, work at the Lions deaf camp, etc., in addition to working with the parent Lion Club. The Placer High Leos club was awarded top club in the Lions 4C-5 district and is in the running for the top Leo club in the International Lions organization.

About 80 people were in attendance, including Host Lions members, the local Lion district governor, parents and members from both clubs.
