More than 100 people attended the Journal’s first ever Medical Matters seminar Monday.
The seminar was held in partnership with Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital. It featured several medical doctors and experts who spoke on topics ranging from oncology and orthopedic surgery to physical therapy and stroke.
The event included 10 information booths for people to visit after hearing from a panel of speakers.
At the end, about 55 participants responded to a survey. 99 percent of which said they would attend another seminar.
“We were very happy with the event,” said MJ Heltsley, Auburn Journal Advertising Director and Major Accounts Sales Manager. “It provided us (The Auburn Journal) the opportunity to start the conversation with our readers. The partnership with Sutter Auburn Faith provided us the opportunity to continue that conversation with the community. The medical professionals on the panel were informative.
