Welcome to the Election 2012 edition of the Auburn Journal’s “Noon Hour Update,” where we’ll present you with stories and updates on what’s going on during today’s presidential election and what we’ll have in our Wednesday edition.

 What we’re working on: Reporter Jon Schultz will be out talking to voters today and covering the race for two seats on the Auburn City Council.

 Reporter Amber Marra will also be out on the campaign trail Tuesday and reporting on the Newcastle Fire Protection District board race and Measure K.

 Reporter Gus Thomson will be following the Placer County Water Agency board race and talking to voters as well.
