What we’re working on:. Sara Seyydin is following up on a couple items addressed at last night’s Auburn City Council. A story breaking down the Auburn Fire Department’s annual report is coming as is a story on the Old Town Business Association fees.

Reporter Gus Thomson is at the Placer County Board of Supervisors today and he will have a story on the issues covered by the county.

What you’re talking about: In our Opinion section several of our letters are garnering comments. Share your thoughts on some of these letters: “Headline cast blame inappropriately,” “Tribute to late maestro superb,” and “Spend the CEO search monies.”

Our story about a woman surviving colon cancer has also generated interest and comments as well. Read it here.
