Mary Lucille Fuson was born in Bondurant, Iowa, on Aug. 29, 1910, the youngest of three children.
Her family later moved to Canada and then to Santa Cruz, where she graduated high school.
She married Earl Morgan in 1934. They had been married almost 62 years when Earl passed away.
She has two daughters, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
As long as they were able, Earl and Mary camped, hunted and fished. After retirement, they traveled in their motor home. They also loved to garden and grew all of their own produce for many years.
Both Mary and Earl were active in Eastern Star and the South Lake Tahoe Shrine Club.
Mary did volunteer work for the Barton Memorial Hospital at South Lake Tahoe, and for several years managed the thrift shop, which was their major fundraiser. She was also active in the Homemakers Club.
All of her life, she has been an avid card player and reader and loved to watch San Francisco Giants baseball and Sacramento Kings basketball on TV.
