Olympic games unite the world

Re: “1960’s Squaw Valley Olympics treasure unearthed in Midwest,” (Journal, Dec. 10). I think it is wonderful that we can celebrate a part of our heritage. This celebration will educate people, like me, about past events that took place before their time. It’s great that we can put together events like these. When the Olympics are held it brings the world together, and so do these types of events. People from all over will probably attend this and remember the memories from past Olympics. Celebrations like this keep people together and let them remember that we can all get along. Even former Olympic athletes are said to attend to gather in their achievements. What a great event!
