An Oregon man’s body was found at the bottom of the Foresthill Bridge Monday evening. Dustin Rhoades, 32, of Eugene, Ore., was believed to have jumped from the bridge, according to Placer Sheriff’s spokeswoman Dena Erwin. Erwin said the Sheriff’s Office received a call from State Parks officials late Monday afternoon. The sheriff’s dive team responded as well as a California Highway Patrol helicopter to remove the body, which was found in the water under the bridge. Erwin said there are no witnesses and no evidence of foul play. “All evidence points toward this individual having jumped from the bridge,” Erwin said. According to an unofficial Journal count, 44 people have jumped from the bridge. - Jenifer Gee
